   Mrs. R.Y. (PIN no. 11909) was a known case of psoriasis since 8 yrs. She had taken multiple treatments for her psoriasis with attacks of remission and relapse all the times. She had psoriasis lesions on her complete body, i. e. her scalp, shoulders, fingers, knees, toes and gluteal (buttocks) region were involved. Along with this she also suffered from Psoriatic arthritis affecting knees and joints of her fingers since last 3 years. She came to us after trying all the possible means of cure for her ailment. She has tremendous aggravation every winter. Her appetite was good with strong desire for sweets. She was sensitive to hot climate and preferred warm weather. She had very normal bowel habits and no complaint with urine and perspiration. She had sound and refreshing sleep with occasional nightmares of seeing some dead people. She was a house wife. Husband was in South Africa for business and she stayed with her parents. She was very reserved person with multiple thoughts coming up in mind. Short tempered with desire to throw things. She easily got stressed out. She had been operated for her complaint of piles one year back. Other wise she had no major illness in past and in family. All her investigations were done for arthritis which showed raised ESR (42) and RA Factor came out to be negative. Lastly she had used methotrexate which had caused suppression or masked picture of psoriasis. Dr Rajesh Shah took the open challenge and accepted this case for treatment. He studied the case in detail and prescribed her his research based medicines. In the first follow up itself she showed a very good improvement. Her joint pain and stiffness had reduced. Gradually her Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis showed very good improvement.
